Health and safety

Operator Fitness is a training log and fitness-information tool for healthy adults. It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. Physical training carries a risk of injury. Consult a physician before starting a new programme, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Operator Apps ("Operator", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Operator Fitness you accept them. If you obtained the app from Google Play and the Apple App Store, the store's terms also apply (for Apple, the Licensed Application End User License Agreement). The store operators are not responsible for the app or its support.

2. Who can use Operator Fitness

You must be at least 16 years old and able to agree to these terms. You need an account; keep your password secret and tell us at support@operatorapps.dev if you think someone else has used it. One person per account.

3. What Operator Fitness does (intended purpose)

Operator Fitness lets you log workouts and, if you choose, lifestyle data (sleep, bodyweight, mood, nutrition), and shows statistics computed from your own logs: personal records, estimated one-rep maxes, training volume and load (ACWR), estimated muscle fatigue, weekly-volume landmarks, readiness and correlations. These are estimates based on general formulas and population averages.

They are not intended to diagnose, prevent, monitor, predict, treat or alleviate any disease or injury.

4. Your responsibility and assumption of risk

  • You decide what, how and how much to train. Suggestions such as "add weight" or "repeat this set" are optional.
  • Use proper technique, equipment and spotting. Do not train when ill or injured.
  • To the extent the law allows, you accept the risks that come with physical exercise.

5. Your data

You own the data you enter. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide Operator Fitness to you, as described in the Privacy Policy and the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. You can export it or delete your account at any time.

6. Squads and other users

Squads let you train alongside other users. When you take part:

  • Your callsign, squad names, custom exercise and routine names, and anything else other members can see must not be unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or infringe anyone's rights, and must not impersonate others.
  • Do not use squads to harass, threaten or spam other users, or to collect their data.
  • You can block any member, and report a member from the squad screen or by emailing support@operatorapps.dev. We review reports, and we may remove content, remove members from squads, or suspend accounts that break these rules. We tell the affected user the reason, unless the law prevents us or it would put others at risk, and they can contest the decision by replying to us.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to access other users' data, to break or overload the service, to reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows, to scrape it, or to use it for anything unlawful.

8. Price

Operator Fitness is currently free. If we introduce paid features, their price and terms will be shown before you buy, and purchases made through an app store are also governed by that store's terms. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription billed by a store; cancel it in your store account.

9. Our content

The app, its design, exercise library and software belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Operator Fitness for your own training.

10. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Operator Fitness available and accurate but cannot guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we shut down the service, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time by deleting your account in Settings or on the web deletion page. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, after notice where reasonable. Accounts inactive for 25 months are deleted, as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, and our total liability for a free service is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

13. Changes to these terms

We will post changes here with a new version date and tell you in the app about material changes before they apply. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the country where Operator Apps is established. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can bring claims in your local courts. EU consumers can also use their national alternative dispute resolution bodies.
